Biblical Education by Extension
What is BEE?
BEE is a mission organization that extends Bible school education systems to church leaders who cannot leave their ministry fields to attend seminary for a period of time, providing them with educational opportunities by bringing the training to where they serve.
Mobile SeminaryVision of BEE Korea
In obedience to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, we train church leaders worldwide through the BEE program to reproduce committed ministers.
Core Value of BEE
BEE obeys 2 Timothy 2:2, training students to teach what they have learned, so that high-quality disciples are reproduced.
2 Timothy 2:2
“또 네가 많은 증인 앞에서 내게 들은 바를 충성된 사람들에게 부탁하라 그들이 또 다른 사람들을 가르칠 수 있으리라”
Korean Revised Version
“and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”

BEE's 7 Strategies
To assist local churches in training prepared leaders who can build growing and spiritually reproducing local churches through indigenous training centers based in the church context.
- 01
Ministry by Local People
The local church is the authority best positioned to provide training appropriate to the field context. BEE indigenizes the ministry by translating BEE materials into local languages, training local facilitators and leaders, and helping them achieve financial independence.
- 02
Church-Based Ministry
Church leaders can be best educated through direct ministry under the supervision and training of experienced senior church leaders.
- 03
Interdenominational Center-Based Ministry
Training new pastors and church leaders for all existing denominational churches.
- 04
Developing Leaders
Developing leaders who are recognized by church leaders and equipped with the trinity of knowledge, character, and practice, so they can train others to become leaders as well.
- 05
Growth
The ministry aims to build healthy churches that grow both qualitatively and quantitatively by enabling established leaders to help church members fulfill their God-given calling and by encouraging local churches to plant new churches.
- 06
Discipleship through Spiritual Reproduction
The most important purpose of church ministry is to establish disciples through spiritual reproduction.
- 07
Mission to Restricted Areas
Focusing on regions where traditional mission approaches are restricted, such as Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, and Communist areas.
Advantages of the BEE Program
BEE has many advantages. Here are some of the key ones.
- 01
Learn while you teach.
BEE students must study the curriculum while simultaneously leading others. Learning effectiveness increases when one teaches while learning.
- 02
Educating the right people.
BEE provides high-quality ministry and pastoral education not only to young people called to ministry but also to spiritually mature adults who are already pastoring in the field. They often want education but cannot obtain it due to ministry and family commitments.
- 03
Combined with field practice.
Students can serve and minister in the field while receiving education. The local church trains students to learn pastoral skills and live a life walking with God.
- 04
Modeling evangelism and discipleship.
While educating students, BEE demonstrates real examples of evangelism, discipleship, godly character, and pastoral skills, so that students prioritize these in their own field ministry.
- 05
Education in the field.
By educating in the ministry field itself, cultural and ethnic gaps are eliminated, and continuous field ministry is maintained.
- 06
Effective teaching method.
The BEE method can educate more people than traditional seminaries. Traditional seminaries can only produce a fraction of the thousands of new leaders needed today.
- 07
Flexibility and transferability.
The curriculum and training periods can be flexibly configured to suit various ministry environments.
- 08
Cost-effectiveness.
Compared to traditional seminaries, there are no costs for building maintenance, faculty, or administrative staff. Since BEE pursues financial independence through indigenization, there are no costs passed to students. Therefore, BEE education can be accomplished with only a fraction of the cost of running a traditional seminary.
Three Ministry Principles
BEE trains church leaders based on three core principles.
1Evangelism and Discipleship
This is essential for obeying the Great Commission and is the most emphasized aspect of the training process.
2Comprehensive Training
Biblical knowledge (what to know), ministry skills (what to do), and Christian character development (who to become).

Core Doctrines of BEE
▸ Show the statement of faith
1The Bible
We believe that the Bible was written by plenary inspiration and is the accurate, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
2God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return in power and glory.
4Salvation of the Lost
We believe that all people are sinners and lost, and ultimately subject to eternal judgment. We believe that all people can be saved from this eternal judgment only by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, not by works.
5Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and fills Christians to help them live godly lives.
6Future Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection and judgment of all people. Believers will be resurrected to enjoy eternal life with God, and unbelievers will be resurrected to be separated from God and suffer eternal punishment.
7The Church
We believe that all who are united with the risen and ascended Son of God become members of Christ's invisible universal church. We also believe that the expression of Christ's universal church in local churches is of utmost importance to God's plan and purpose.
8The Great Commission
We believe that the most important responsibility of all who are saved is to work toward fulfilling Christ's Great Commission.
